Artist Statement
Producing work that resonates from within promotes a commitment to Creation beyond the pursuit of worldly comforts. While the nature of a bird is to be a bird, a human being has yet to find how to be human. As an artist I strive to bring forth worthwhile works into the world. "Tonic Moment" is about the recognition that occurs when painting transforms light into meaning, whenever form marries authentic thought and emotion for painter and viewer alike. Painting is not about fooling the eye. Painting is about connecting with life and sharing the moment
